Here’s everything you need to know about purchasing Bob’s furniture removal service:
What is Bob’s Furniture Removal:
Handles the removal and disposal of old furniture when new furniture is delivered, if the old furniture is in a safe and sanitary condition.
When purchased, you agree to our terms and conditions, understand the associated risks, and confirm that you have the legal right to the furniture being removed.
Furniture Removal cannot be ordered or modified after delivery is scheduled and cannot be requested during the delivery.
Adding Furniture Removal to an Order:
Added at checkout on the website or by asking a sales associate to add it for in-store purchases.
Should not be selected for items that require extensive disassembly and/or are not safely removable without the destruction of the furniture or home.
Furniture items must fit through doorways to qualify for the removal service.
Furniture Removal Scheduling and Rescheduling:
Scheduled for the same day as new merchandise delivery, allowing for a seamless experience from old to new.
It cannot be requested or modified after your delivery is scheduled.
It is not a service sold separately.
Can be rescheduled in conjunction with rescheduling the delivery of new items.
Furniture Removal Pricing:
Furniture removal services and pricing depend on the delivery of new furniture from Bob's. Guests must accept at least one new piece to be eligible.
$150.00 for the removal of one (1) piece of furniture
$ 50.00 for each additional piece of furniture.
Ex: The removal of a sectional sofa incurs a separate charge for each piece, so a 3-piece sectional would cost $250.00.
Reasons Furniture Removal Can be Refused on the Day of Delivery:
If an item is found to be infested with bugs.
If the item is too dangerous, toxic, unsanitary or has pieces of broken glass.
We will only remove similar furniture items to those that we sell in Bob’s stores, for instance we will not remove pianos, appliances, trash, televisions, etc.
In instances of inclement weather such as heavy rain, snow, sleet, hail, lightning, and/or high winds.
If the delivery location is inaccessible or too far away from our delivery team’s truck.
If the item(s) cannot be moved safely through a narrow doorway, hallway, up or down stairs.
Disposal of Items Removed
Disposed furniture cannot be returned, and we do not track removed items.
Guests should ensure all personal items are removed before the delivery date.
Personal belongings left inside of the removed furniture cannot be returned.
Bob's delivery teams are not liable for personal property left in disposed items.
