Here's what your delivery team should do during delivery
1. Assembly
During inclement weather or when requested by you, wear shoe covers to protect your home and new furniture.
Discuss your desired layout and setup of your new furniture.
Review any potential obstacles around the setup location.
Unpack your new furniture, assemble it and put it exactly where you want it
2. Inspection
Complete a final inspection of your new furniture before leaving
Look over your new furniture thoroughly
3. Demonstration
Show you all the features of your new furniture
Ensure you’re familiar with how to use your new furniture before we depart
4. Cleanup
Remove all packaging and debris related to your delivery
If the drivers are delivering a new mattress or foundation, they will haul away your old mattress or box spring (as long as it’s safe & sanitary)
5. Support
If any issues arise during your delivery, the driver should not leave but instead contact Bob’s dedicated driver support line.
If you have any additional questions, call or text Customer Support at 860-474-1000.
Here’s what your delivery team cannot do during delivery
For liability reasons, the delivery team cannot move or remove your old furniture or mattresses unless you’ve purchased Bob’s furniture removal service before scheduling delivery.
If your furniture doesn’t fit through your threshold entrance, the delivery team cannot hoist it.
During the winter season, the delivery team cannot complete deliveries unless all of your entrances, driveways, walkways, sidewalks, and stairs/steps are free of snow and ice, as well as being salted or sanded.
